DIY GALLERY INSTRUCTIONS
For
first time users with images presently on gallery, please
log on using your first letter of your first name, and the
full last name without any spaces between.
Example:
(If your name was John Doe)
Username: jdoe
Password: jdoe
After
you have logged in, click on edit account. Please update
all information in this area, including a new password.
If you do not want your email address published on your
gallery page, please leave this area blank. (The email address
display is not in place yet, but will be soon.)
After
you update information, you will return to the menu that
allows you to choose to Add a Photo, or Edit a current photo.
Please keep in mind before you add a photo to the DIY Gallery,
the photo size cannot exceed more that 500 pixels on the
width and height. If your picture does not display correctly
after publishing, you will have to resize this using a photo
shop editing tool.
ADD
A PHOTO:
Click
on Browse, and retrieve your photo from its current location
in your computer.
Click
on open, and you will see the file name displayed.
On
the top line (next to Title) please type in your photo’s
title. To keep consistent with your other photo titles,
please capitalize first letter of each word. Example: The
Red Barn
Then
Click on Add.
You
will see a display of 2 photos, the thumbnail, and the full
size. Click on continue, and it will bring you back to your
gallery.
DELETE
A PHOTO:
Find
the photo that you would like to delete, click on delete.
You
will be asked to confirm the delete, click on YES, DELETE.
EDIT
A PHOTO TITLE:
Click
on edit, then retype the title in.
(if
you forget to add a title when adding a photo, it will display
as “no title”)
When
you have completed editing your gallery, please logout.
This will take you back to the gallery pages.
