Nancy Parker is a retired university professor.
She currently volunteers one day a week in research at the Missouri Botanical Garden on “The Flora of Missouri” project.
She has taken pictures casually since she was given her first Brownie Hawkeye camera when she was about 12.
She got her first 35 mm camera, a Canon AE1, about 40 years ago. Nancy shot kids, grand kids, and mostly nature for years and was “official” field and lab photographer for a large botany group at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, shooting slides.
Parker joined the St. Louis Camera Club in 2002 and PSA in 2006, where she is a member of an EID creative study group (#24). She has become an active, and very successful, exhibitor in international exhibitions. Congratulations to Nancy on have earned her first star in Color Projected Images (6 images with 30 total acceptances) and her first star in Electronic Imaging (6 images with 18 acceptances).
The number of medals and Honorable Mentions she has received attest to her growing skill as a photographic competitor.
Within the past five years Nancy has discovered Photoshop and, is continuing her march through the Canon EOS series, she moved to digital a few years ago. Her present camera is with the Canon 40D.
Nancy also serves the St. Louis Camera Club as Recorder.

If the maker does not wish any image to be displayed and/or published in this manner, the may not be entered into the competition.
